Craft Beer Week is here. We will have $3.00 Wabash Wheat beers and $1.00 off Wabash Wheat growler fills this week in our tap room. Also, we will be at the Omaha Beer Fest Friday and Saturday with our Irish Red and IPA. Cheers!
A first at Keg Creek – We have 7 beers on tap. Randy was nice enough to lend us his kegerator, giving us the ability to tap an extra beer. We have our four regulars – Wabash Wheat, Sharp Street Stout, Breakdown Brown, and Keg Creek IPA; and also the Belgo-Scottish Bourbon Barrel Ale, German Pilsner, and our Irish Red. This Friday come out 6 to 9 pm to enjoy live music by Ryne Doughty. Check him out at http://www.reverbnation.com/rynedoughty.
Good News! Due to many requests, we will be brewing the Irish Red Ale again early next week. There may be a short lag between the two batches, but it will be back. Thank you to all that expressed their desire for us to keep this beer available. We appreciate the support and we will answer the call.
Due to unforeseen staffing circumstances we will not be opening at Noon on Saturday, March 24th. Instead we will open at 6:00 PM. Sorry for any inconvenience. Get those growlers filled early on Friday! Saturday the 24th hours will be 6 – 10pm. Thanks for your understanding.
Come down to the tap room in Glenwood on St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate! We will have live music by the Pair of Jacks from 6 to 9 pm and we will be unveiling our Irish Red Ale that day as well. Definitely will be a great time.
The BSBBA is kegged and tapped. It will be available in our tap room on Tuesday, Feb 14th from 5 to 9 pm for Mug Club members and then on Wednesday, Feb 15th for everyone else. This is truly a unique beer that changes profiles many times as it warms in the glass; a sweet, caramel, dark amber malt base combines with Belgian yeast that provide a fruity, spicy character. The bourbon barrel then adds a smooth bourbon aroma and flavor as well as a hint of Oak. This beer is great for sipping and will be available only in 10 oz goblet glasses. Unfortunately there will be no growler sales, as we only have about 45 gallons. 6.5% ABV. Please come out soon as supplies are limited!
On Tuesday, February 7th, we will be at the Brass Monkey in Omaha (36th and V) from 7 to 9 pm giving out samples. They will have our Breakdown Brown and Black IPA on tap for purchase and we will bring the rest. Please come out to support Keg Creek, the Brass Monkey, and Omaha Beer Week. Check out the event on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/events/286552178064707/. See you there!
